Sadie's Bath

After all of our Christmas traveling that Sadie, of course, accompanied us on, she needed a bath!! She had the boy dogs at Grandma Cady's to fend off and the stench of dog slobber was very evident on her! Sadie HATES baths! If she is being naughty, you just have to threaten "bath" and she pretty much cowers. I don't know what the deal is, we don't use dog baths as punishment and we aren't mean to her during doggie baths, she just doesn't like them. Sometimes Gizmo watches Sadie get a bath. I think he's laughing while he observes her getting soaking wet.......ha ha ha ha, you dumb doggie!!! At least cats can bath themselves as we are a far more superior species!! I just know that's what Gizmo would say if he could talk! LOL

Anyway, the point of this post is that while I was bathing Sadie on Monday, Russ brought Carlie into the bathroom. Carlie DID NOT like seeing Sadie in the bathtub getting all cleaned up. She just started bawling! Russ then took her out and brought her back in and she started bawling again! It wasn't just fake-crying either, she was UPSET!

After the dog bath was over, we gave Carlie a treat to offer Sadie and all was better. :-)
